Free Sample Music for VF1S Cockpit playlist buttons

Here are some samples of music playlists. Some of these are royalty free and others downloaded from youtube to show as an example.  You will copy and paste these into the sound folder of your downloaded Robot-Jet.

You can create your own wav files and have them play from the cockpit. I recommend exporting them or converting them to wav file using the “Audacity” software that comes with microsoft.  For some reason the flight sim is picky about the wav file codec.  Audacity seems to work well when exporting and renaming a wav file.  

In the lower left display of the cockpit you will see a series of 14 small buttons that have song titles associated with them.

In this download are folders with some “music_samples_royalty_free” and another with Robotech themed music downloaded from youtube.  Again, this is at your discretion and we are not responsible for how you use them.  These are to be used as a setup example for the playlist feature.

How it works is that there are 14 song titles you will see in the “music_samples_royalty_free” folder found in the sound folder.  They all have specific naming conventions and will connect to a certain button in the cockpit.   

As long as the wav file is named the same way you can replace it with any song you like. Import a song into the Audacity program and export it as a wav file and rename it to reflect one of the 14 prenamed songs.  Move the song into the sound folder of your downloaded Robot-Jet. When the game is relaunched it should pick up the music from the sound folder and you will then be able to access it from the cockpit buttons. If you would like to try it out right away, just copy or move the songs from the  “music_samples_royalty_free” folder into the sound folder.  Restart the mission and the songs should now play when you hit the button. Be aware the song will play in it’s entirety.  So be patient for it to finish before making the next selection.
